Colorado Maine Coon Kittens: Whispers of the Old World | Omega Maine Coons
By Natasha, Omega Maine Coons
Every little legend starts somewhere. On August 11, 2026, we welcomed five Maine Coon kittens—two boys and three girls—at Omega Maine Coons in Colorado.
Meet Alistair Ironmane, Emrys Stormsong, Rosalina Thornveil, Morwenna Emberheart, and Sunniva FrostFire, the little characters behind our Whispers of the Old World litter theme. Inspired by enchanted woodlands and old-world storytelling, their names celebrate the appearance and emerging personalities that make each kitten an individual.
All five kittens currently remain under observation as we evaluate their development. For now, we’re excited to introduce them and invite you to follow their stories.
Meet the Five Little Legends
OmegaMCO Alistair Ironmane
The strength of an old-world guardian.
Alistair Ironmane carries a name with presence. His richly patterned tabby coat makes a striking counterpart to a title that calls to mind a guardian from an ancient tale. “Ironmane” is our storybook tribute to strength and the magnificent presence we love in Maine Coons.
At home, he’s simply Alistair—a little boy with plenty of growing to do before he grows into that grand name.
OmegaMCO Emrys Stormsong
A soft voice and quiet courage.
Emrys’s name takes its inspiration from the kitten himself. Quiet, snuggly, and reserved, he likes to watch everyone and take in what’s happening around him. He also has his own little vocabulary of chirps and coos.
Stormsong pairs that gentle voice with his courageous side. Our blue boy doesn’t need to be the loudest kitten to have a memorable presence.
OmegaMCO Rosalina Thornveil
Beauty with a touch of mystery.
Rosalina Thornveil sounds like a character discovered in the pages of an old woodland story. Her soft blue-and-cream coloring pairs beautifully with a name that evokes roses, winding briars, and hidden gardens.
Her legendary title gives her introduction a romantic setting; discovering her individual personality as she grows is the part we’re most excited to share.
OmegaMCO Morwenna Emberheart
A little adventurer with a spark.
Morwenna’s warm coloring and curious, adventurous nature helped inspire Emberheart. She has already given us glimpses of a kitten eager to explore and investigate.
Her name captures that early spark: a small adventurer at the beginning of a much bigger story.
OmegaMCO Sunniva FrostFire
Two contrasting colors, one unforgettable little face.
Sunniva’s blue-and-cream coloring inspired FrostFire, a title that brings together cool and warm tones reminiscent of norse legends.
Her name combines the lyrical sound of Sunniva with a stronger, more dramatic title. Together, they give this distinctive little girl her own place among her siblings’ stories.
All Five Kittens Are Under Observation
All five kittens are currently under observation and are not being offered as available at this time.
This is a period for watching their development, getting to know their temperaments, and thoughtfully considering their futures. Sharing their names and photographs lets you follow that process with us; it does not mean reservations have opened.
We’re introducing them as they are today, with plenty still to discover.
Raising Our Maine Coon Kittens in Colorado
At Omega Maine Coons, the work behind every litter is personal and deliberate. We monitor development, spend time getting to know each kitten, and introduce age-appropriate handling and experiences as they grow.
Our broader socialization program includes grooming, new people, car rides, harness introductions, and other experiences that help prepare kittens for everyday life with their future families.
Our motto, “Better breeding through science,” guides the thought behind our breeding program. If you’re researching Maine Coon breeders in Colorado, we invite you to explore our health-testing practices, learn how we raise our kittens, and read about our application process.
The photographs introduce their faces. The updates that follow will help introduce the individuals.
